Your Bio

Aloha and Welcome to the website of Thru Hawaiian Eyes.

This site is dedicated to my Mother, Dora Helen Souza Contrades, who loved the beauty of Kauai and these islands.

My name is Stan Contrades and I live in Hawai'i where I was born. I am of Hawaiian, Portuguese and Spanish descent; my Father of Hawaiian and Spanish descent, and my Mother being Portuguese.
The photographs at the top of this page are from the island of Kaua'i, the Garden Island. The first is of the Taro Fields in Hanalei; the second of a vista from the Waimea Canyon; and the third of Mount Waialeale that has the distinction of being one of the wettest spots on earth!
The images you will see on this website were taken with a Canon EOS D60 or Canon Rebel XTi digital camera and various lenses.

Ordering prints - most of my work is availiable for sale in print form. You may contact me by leaving a message uder the photograph you are interested or by reaching me at my e-mail address:
sjcksb56@yahoo.com

Greeting cards are also available and may be framed by using a 5x7 frame of the receiver's choice. The back panel of the card is detached before framing.

Greeting card prices are: $3.75 each, 5 for $16.00, postage not included. Samples of these greeting cards may be found in the "Business" gallery.

If you have any questions, comments or would like to order an image or cards, please contact me at: sjcksb56@yahoo.com
